Baroness Karren Brady To Speak At Green Light 2015
Baroness Karren Brady, vice-chairman of West Ham United FC and aide to Sir Alan Sugar on The Apprentice, will be the keynote speaker at VOW’s Green Light at the Hilton Metropole, Birmingham on 23 January 2015.
Business transformation will be a key theme of the talk by the former managing director of Birmingham City F.C., who ran the business side of the Club for 16 years through promotion, relegation and her own brain surgery. Baroness Brady now plays an active role at West Ham, keeps a watch on Apprentice candidates and acts as an Ambassador for Small Business to the Government. In September this year she was elevated to the House of Lords as a life peer, taking the title Baroness Brady.
Green Light 2015 will offer a combination of inspirational and practical talks, seminars, workshops, networking and supplier stands to make the one day event a complete one stop shop for resellers from across the UK and Ireland. There will be a separate track of exclusive VOW+ seminars for VOW+ partner principals, who have also been invited to meet members of the newly formed EVO board on the day for industry related discussions.
Martin Weedall, national sales director, VOW: “We’re delighted that Baroness Brady has agreed to be our headline speaker at Green Light 2015. Although we’ve already created a mix of activities to make the day essential to all resellers, her appearance will make it an unmissable calendar event.
“I’m certain that Baroness Brady’s impressive achievements to date, together with her business expertise and insights, will deliver inspiration and encouragement to everyone and help us all aim for even greater growth in this fast moving and often challenging industry.
“Registrations are filling up fast and with the cut-off date on 9 January, I would advise anyone who hasn’t already, to register and ensure you don’t miss out.”
