Co-Founder of ‘innocent’ confirmed as keynote speaker for Green Light 2016
Richard Reed, co-founder of innocent, has been confirmed as the keynote speaker for Green Light 2016. As the number one smoothie brand in Europe, innocent was started from a market stall in 1999 by Richard and two friends and has grown into a business with a turnover of over £200m. Taking place on 22nd January 2016 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole (NEC), Green Light will see Richard speak about ‘how small can beat big’, ‘why simplicity works’, and ‘why it’s vital to listen to criticism and nourish the relationship with the consumer’.
In line with the ‘Stepping up a Gear’ theme, Green Light 2016 is set to be even bigger than last year’s event. This cross-category expo for the business supplies and services industry will include a carefully put together seminar programme of master classes to help delegates proactively prepare for fast-paced industry changes. The event is set to bring together over 500 delegates including VOW customers, suppliers and high profile brands under one roof. Attendees will also get the opportunity to be involved in thought-provoking discussions from keynote speakers, and attend business updates from VOW’s key directors and master classes involving topical subjects such as Managed Print Services.
Emma Nourry, Head of Marketing at VOW, comments: “We’re delighted to confirm Richard as our keynote speaker. He has inspiring stories to share with our audience and has received outstanding commendations from media titles such as the Financial Times and names such as Bill Clinton!”
Richard and innocent’s awards include winning E&Y’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year; Britain’s Greatest Business at ITV’s Great Britons Awards; Most Admired Business Leader by Marketing magazine; National Business Awards’ Small/Medium Business of the Year, and Orange Innovative Company of the Year.
