Green Light: Supplier Award Nominations Confirmed, Entertainment Revealed as David Brent
Taking place on Friday 2nd December at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole, Green Light is all set to reveal its brand new format and theme of “Transformation is Now”. Among other new features, this year’s Green Light will see the introduction of more supplier award categories than previous years.
VOW can now reveal the final shortlist for this year’s nominations as follows:
Supplier of the Year:
ExaClair
Brother
Clover Chemicals
Product of the Year:
Bisilque Ultrabrite Boards
Keurig Coffee Machine
Plantronics Calisto 620 – UC Speakerphone
Supplier Account Manager of the Year:
Helen Wade, Fellowes
Scott White, Nestlé
Emily Blach, Epson
Winners from the above shortlist and the coveted Best Stand Award will be announced at the Gala Awards Dinner on the night.
Also making a special appearance during the evening, David Brent from ‘The Office’ will be entertaining the audience with his true laid-back demeanour. From awkward dances to completely inappropriate, cringe worthy behaviour, David is the type of boss who means well, even if it doesn’t come across that way. He wants to be everyone’s friend and mentor and his unlimited talents include poetry, singing and playing music, managing his team, dancing, and even offering advice on dating and marriage. Delegates will be entertained by one of the most famous and award-winning David Brent impersonators, Ricky Gervais lookalike Tim Oliver. Tim is also the star of Lookalikes on Channel 4 and will have the audience in stitches as he brings “The Office” to life.
The evening will finish with a grand after-party, another first since Green Light’s inception. The theme of the party will only be revealed on the night and all details are strictly being kept under wraps.
