Positive Feedback for Inaugural Heatwave Incentive
VOW’s inaugural Heatwave event, a Partner-specific incentive that took place in Italy in May, has received a warm reception from resellers. For the first time, when joining VOW’s 2016 Partner sales promotion, participating resellers could choose which trip they preferred to win by meeting specific sales targets. Building on VOW’s popular Whiteout incentive, Heatwave was planned for resellers who wanted an alternative to the snow.
The new incentive targeted resellers on their sales of each of the 10 brands supporting the incentive and winning resellers enjoyed a four-day trip to Sorrento, Italy, where they were treated to fine cuisine, sightseeing and scenic excursions. Guests stayed at the Hilton Sorrento Palace and the trip’s activities included a cookery course at the Quanto Basta Cookery School and an excursion to Pompeii.
Heather McManus, Commercial and Marketing Director at VOW, adds: “Launching the Heatwave incentive has encouraged an increased level of engagement from resellers who perhaps didn’t want to embark on our Whiteout skiing incentive trip. Feedback has been excellent and on the back of Heatwave’s first year success, we are now planning the incentive for 2017.”

The incentive was supported by sponsors Acco, Fellowes, 3M, BIC, Exaclair, Brother, Nestle, Henkel, Energizer and 2Work. Plans for Heatwave 2017 are underway with initial details due to be released next month under the VOW Venture Programme.
