VOW is pleased to announce that it is releasing a new data and content update file for its resellers at the end of November 2016. This update is specifically aimed at a revision of the 40 character file that fuels the majority of resellers’ back office systems. The extensive project involved clearly expanding on each product using the 40 character description field and these revisions have been applied to over 22,000 products across all content.

Implemented by VOW’s Master Data Management and eCommerce teams, this update forms part of the overall drive to make data and content more applicable to resellers across all platforms such as back office systems, invoices and other platforms where this data and content is used. This is being rolled out at the end of November via ePlus, ePremium data and content files allowing resellers to benefit from the revisions to get quick, accurate and less abbreviated product descriptions.

Even at 40 characters, this update ensures resellers can now view product information in a clearer and concise manner moving away from previous abbreviated descriptions.
