VOW Celebrates 15th Successive Year Of PACT Growth
VOW is celebrating a 15th consecutive year of growth for its PACT (Pricing Assistance for Contract Tendering) service for VOW+ customers.
The 11-strong PACT team achieved yet another year of success in 2013 with 8% growth, 485 contracts defended and 93 new contracts won. Working jointly with VOW+ partners and supporters the PACT team played a vital supporting role in winning and defending around £66 million worth of contracts in 2013 alone.
Part of the VOW+ programme, PACT is an added value service that supports VOW+ customers during a formal tender or simply when they need extra help when competing head-to-head against a contract stationer or non-VOW supporter. By providing in-depth product information and targeted pricing support the service helps VOW+ customers to gain and to retain business.

PACT works by enhancing a reseller’s prices on a case-by-case basis, enabling a reseller to pitch for a specific piece of business knowing that they have the most appropriate and targeted pricing support possible. Once a contract is won, PACT is able to fix these improved prices for up to 12 months and insulate the consumer and reseller from further cost price movements. The service provides resellers with a vital business tool in the corporate arena where price is often the key factor.
