VOW Further Enhances OP-Dealer
VOW e-commerce has become even more user-friendly following the latest round of enhancements to its OP-Dealer.co.uk and OP-Dealer.ie sites.
As part of ongoing work to continually improve the usability of its web platforms, VOW has made improved stock level information available to resellers, so they can now correctly analyse stock levels for header code items.
Since the OP-Dealer e-commerce system was upgraded in October 2015, one of the priority issues identified from development testing with users was header code items. These had been showing zero stock because stock was held at the individual component parts that make up the header code.
Nikola Simpson, Group E-Commerce Manager: “We have changed the way that header code items display so that OP-Dealer now shows a stock figure based on the number of full items that can be supplied, which in turn is calculated on the stock of each individual part.
“This is a great development for OP-Dealer and its users and we are already receiving very positive feedback from resellers who are seeing the benefits of this enhancement to stock level information.”
Work is also continuing to roll out product videos on to the site for higher ticket items. Products without a video will have images displayed, switching to video once available.
VOW’s upgraded OP-Dealer e-commerce site gives resellers an enhanced way to search, view and order. The new upgraded site can be accessed via OP-Dealer.co.uk and OP-Dealer.ie and is fully responsive and accessible on mobile, tablet and desktop devices.
