VOW Interiors Delivers For ACS Office Supplies
VOW Interiors has helped office supplies reseller ACS to increase headcount by more than 20% in a complete redesign of its Bingley premises.
A new open plan design with 104 Arista bench desks and seating has enabled ACS to meet growth plans within its Aire Valley Business Park offices without incurring relocation costs. The project has seen VOW install a mix of bench desking, breakout and seating areas, storage, blinds and carpets across sales and operations areas.
Three acoustic pods featuring bright green fabric give ACS offices a vibrant, modern appearance and provide relaxed spaces for breakout sessions and meetings.
ACS’ decision to invest over £60,000 in design and furnishing came after VOW business development manager Matt Allaby drafted a plan to show how ACS could support its own customers on design and installation.
Harry Stevenson, commercial director, ACS: “Talking to VOW about our customers’ needs, we suddenly realised we could achieve something significant here, to increase work space, improve morale and better reflect the ACS brand. Space was a pressing issue and until Matt pulled the plan together we hadn’t realised how achievable an increase in headcount in our own premises could be.
“The end result has been very positive and achieved exactly what we wanted. There is space for new team members, the offices look fresh and inviting and a newer, attractive office environment has given our people more motivation than ever.”
Matt Allaby, VOW: “ACS had more traditional beech wood desks and pedestal drawer storage that was more bulky and restricting the layout options. This meant that during times of growth, the company could not easily accommodate extra staff.
“During a four phase process we removed the old furniture and introduced new furnishings and fittings. This has created a tidier, more streamlined working area with some fantastic, casual meeting spaces.
“We’re very pleased that what started as an initial chat about end user needs has led to one of our valued reseller partners achieving some transformation and growth objectives of its own.”
