VOW Ireland Delegates Fired Up For Growth
Resellers from across Ireland were inspired to go for even greater growth at VOW’s mid year event in Dublin last Friday, 5 June.
The day included a welcome from VOW Ireland managing director Ashley Burke and a business update from EVO Group sales and marketing director Steve Haworth, who recommended that delegates leave the day with ‘one thing’ whether that was a change in approach to customers, research or time investment in a new area.
In the afternoon, facilities supplies and technology training sessions were delivered by Nestle, Bewley’s, Wallace Cameron and Philips Projectors, with James Tobias of 2Work Chemicals covering the CLP (classification, labelling and packaging) regulations for cleaning products, which came into force this year. Delegates had the opportunity to ask questions and touch and feel the products during the training sessions at the Aviva Stadium.
Siobhan O’Connor, managing director of Codex, Ireland’s largest independent OP business: “It was well worth taking the time out of the office. The day was very industry informative, well organised and presented some great opportunities for selling outside of traditional office products.”
Joe Dolan of Tara dealer group: “It was fantastic to see so many Tara members in attendance. The training was excellent and very informative.”
VOW Ireland MD Ashley Burke: ” It was great to be able to review the past year, take stock of where we are and address where we’re all going next. The training provided by the suppliers was superb and gave everyone the opportunity to find out exactly how to get in front of the right customers and grow these categories.
“The idea was to inspire all our partners and resellers to think about at least one new thing they could do to achieve even greater success and we’re looking forward to seeing that bear fruit for as many of our resellers as possible.”
