Following on from VOW’s announcement about the new contract with TC Group that commenced in March, VOW’s Furniture Category Director outlines some of the key developments within the category.

Category Director Vanessa Warne outlines, “The new deal with TC has been structured to enable a complete transformation of the furniture category. We can now share that a dedicated team has been formed to fully support our furniture offering and includes key business development, sales, account management, marketing and commercial personnel.”

“We have significantly broadened our commodity range and have the widest wholesale range of interiors products in the UK that are available for next day delivery. This, coupled with our large order project management service, delivery and installation service, competitive pricing for larger orders, CAD expertise and specialist sales support, means that our resellers can really benefit from what we offer. Whether they’re looking to enter this category or grow sales within it, we’re here to work with them to give them a competitive edge. We’re currently also working on developing an online exclusive range.”

Vanessa adds, “There are various areas within the category itself that present great sales opportunities for our resellers. Health and wellbeing, collaborative working spaces, flexible and home working and ergonomics are all extremely popular trends that are here to stay.”

Later in the year VOW will be organising furniture roadshows for its reseller customers. The events will be held at locations in the North and South of the country and resellers will be able to learn about the latest products and hear from speakers to gain market specific insight, as well as be able to discuss sales opportunities and tactics.  More details will be released in due course.
