VOW has taken the European Office Products Awards’ Wholesaler of the Year title for the second year in a row.

Commended for its innovative work with VOW+ partners, resellers and manufacturers to deliver an excellent customer experience, VOW has seen another year of sales growth and significant investment in people, technology and initiatives, which, it says, continues to demonstrate the real value of wholesale.

VOW’s national sales director Martin Weedall: “We are delighted to have been acknowledged by our peers in this prestigious awards programme. The fact we have won the EOPA Wholesaler of the Year award two years in succession reflects the significant on-going efforts that we are making to innovate and improve in every area to ensure that the business products sector thrives in the years to come.

“We saw positive market share increases and growth in our furniture and facilities supplies categories. We maintained our HP Preferred Partner status and our PACT team saw its 15th year of consecutive growth.

“We have made over £5 million worth of investment in our logistics, including transformational technology with the capability to handle ever smaller picks and ensure a picking accuracy that is only currently matched in the pharmaceutical industry.

“We have increased our account management team, giving our partners and supporters a high level of on-going support; we’ve recruited category specialists in facilities supplies, furniture and a dedicated head of training and development, all of which is bringing a high level of expertise and attention to detail across the sector.

“Within our VOW+ programme we have focussed on added value services that our partners need and that deliver tailor made solutions for our industry.

“Our achievements show that VOW is embracing and handling this fast changing world very well. I am confident that, by continuing this excellent teamwork with resellers and manufacturers, we are all looking to a great future.”
