VOW’S (OPinfo.net) Upgrade Released
VOW has formally released a new variant of OPinfo.net following an upgrade. Originally created to provide all functions of a standard e-commerce website without online purchasing, OPinfo.net previously provided a white label e-commerce based digital catalogue for the benefit of its wholesalers, resellers and office products dealers to use for their customers.
A site like this allows VOW resellers who may not have their own e-commerce website or web store to reference opinfo.net to their clients or customers, thereby allowing them to browse and view products online that could then be ordered direct with the reseller/dealer. Upgrades have now been completed and passed UX and UI testing ahead of the release date. Alongside the site’s new branding there will be an enhancement to the current ‘dealer locator’ feature for users who have stumbled across the site and want to order or find a dealer in their area. This locator function will continue to be fuelled by the VOW Venture Partner program data and will reference VOW partners by their geographical location.
Darren Mack, EVO Group’s Ecommerce Director, says: “The site has performed really well in building a strong and growing audience, over the past two years especially. However, this current upgrade sees a site that is now fully responsive, offering mobile and tablet usage previously not available on the OPinfo.net website. Enhanced product imagery, details of linked and cross sell products for items, along with more descriptive product information, and a responsive rendering for the site by user device, are the key changes in this release.”
Development of this site and others online are to continue as part of the investment from VOW to drive digital interaction and e-commerce harder through 2016 and help its resellers online.
