VOW has announced details of the inaugural VOW Venture Mid Year event due to take place in July. Taking place at the Village Club Hotel, Solihull on Wednesday, 13 July, the event will share further details about the progressive VOW Venture programme and will also mark the official launch of Heatwave and Whiteout 2017, VOW’s Venture’s exclusive customer incentive.

VOW is supporting and working with Kyocera to tackle the threat of counterfeit products in the UK. As one of the world’s leading document output management companies, Kyocera recently launched a campaign to educate customers and partners on the risks incurred by buying counterfeit consumables. The move comes in response to the rising scale of the problem as over €5m worth of counterfeit products were seized by Kyocera since April, the beginning of its financial year, an increase on the previous year’s confiscation of over 100,000 units, worth in excess of €10m.

VOW Ireland’s industry exclusive mid year gathering that took place on 9 June saw around 100 influential customers and suppliers attend the event at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. Hosted by VOW Ireland’s Managing Director Ashley Burke, the day saw Group CEO Steve Haworth present an update on the Group, a brief overview of market trends and the competitive landscape. Steve also spoke about VOW’s commitment to resellers, seeing the wholesaler go back to basics.
